Miami Open Tickets: Stadium, Grandstand and Grounds Passes Explained
The Miami Open uses the Hard Rock Stadium campus in Miami Gardens, but a tennis ticket does not automatically provide access to every court or every session. The organizer currently lists March 14–28, 2027, subject to change. Before choosing seats, decide whether you want a particular reserved court experience or the flexibility of moving among the permitted outer courts.
Understand the three admission choices
The official FAQ distinguishes Stadium, Grandstand and Grounds Pass admission. A Stadium ticket includes its reserved Stadium session plus the permitted nonreserved Grandstand and outer-court access. Grandstand admission includes its reserved Grandstand seat and outer-court access, but not Stadium entry. A Grounds Pass gives campus, outer-court and nonreserved Grandstand access, without Stadium admission. Always confirm the current terms for the specific product you are purchasing; a small difference in the label can change which matches you can see.
Do not buy a guaranteed-player assumption
Tournament participation, draw position and the daily order of play are separate from the admission type. A ticket for a session does not by itself guarantee your favorite player will appear there. Check the organizer’s order of play as it becomes available and understand the seller’s terms before paying for a premium based on a hoped-for matchup. For flexible tennis watching, compare campus access against the value of a fixed reserved seat.
Plan your court changes and comfort
An outer-court day involves a different pattern from staying in one reserved seat. Allow time to move, find available places and take meal breaks. Check current bag, water and weather guidance before packing. Think through sun exposure over the entire day rather than assuming the football stadium canopy covers the tennis campus. If accessible seating or a companion arrangement is needed, confirm that the chosen ticket product supports it before checkout.
Transport and the final ticket check
Use tournament-specific parking and arrival instructions. Save your admission and any separate parking pass, and check the correct session and calendar date on both. Match the end of your travel plan to the possibility of extended tennis, not simply to the printed start. For resale, compare the complete cost and delivery method with official inventory. Confirm court, session, date, reserved or nonreserved status and entry rights before purchasing. A cheap ticket that excludes the match you intend to watch is not the better value.
