Shakira in Miami: Concert History, Stadium Performances and What to Check Before Booking

Research draft for MiamiTickets.co. Reviewed October 9, 2026. This is a documented-performance archive, not a claim to record every appearance. Miami Gardens is in Miami-Dade; Sunrise is Broward and separated below. Announcements are not proof a show took place.

Shakira’s Miami performance history is more than a list of tour dates. Downtown arena concerts, stadium shows in Miami Gardens, and internationally televised sports appearances belong to different chapters of the story. Keeping them separate helps fans understand what happened, where it happened, and what kind of ticketed experience it represented.

The downtown arena now called Kaseya Center appears in older records as AmericanAirlines Arena. Those names refer to the same venue, but they should stay attached to their historical dates. Miami Arena, which appears in an early Shakira concert record, was a different building. Hard Rock Stadium is a different setting again: a football stadium in Miami Gardens rather than a downtown indoor arena.

The most recent documented Miami concerts

Kaseya Center announced Shakira for July 1, 2026, then added July 2. Subsequent on-site journalism and photographs document the July 1 performance; a community-maintained setlist documents July 2. Both dates are past as of this research date. The archive should not leave them presented as upcoming tickets.

For a future Miami appearance, start with a current announcement from the artist, venue or promoter. Once a show is confirmed, check the actual event seating map before comparing tickets. The same artist can play substantially different configurations between an arena and a stadium. A historical concert timeline cannot establish the sightline of a seat for a new production.

Why the 2024 dates need their own explanation

Someone searching old ticket emails could find November 20 or November 21, 2024, listed at Kaseya Center. Those were genuine announced dates. They should not be counted as completed Miami performances. The promoter’s October 2024 announcement said the North American leg would move into 2025, with several markets changing to stadiums. Miami’s June 2025 stadium dates belong in the performed timeline; the original arena dates belong in a schedule-change note.

This distinction is useful to fans trying to reconstruct their own concert history. It also prevents an archive from turning an abandoned event listing into a concert that never happened.

A Miami concert is not always a Miami tour stop

Shakira’s February 2020 Super Bowl appearance at Hard Rock Stadium should be labeled a halftime performance rather than a solo concert. The same classification principle applies to the Copa América final listing. Festival sets, award-show performances, surprise appearances and television tapings merit a separate timeline when the evidence is strong enough. Combining them with full-length tour shows would inflate the concert count and make comparison less meaningful.

Early archive results also surface a May 27, 2017, appearance at The Wynwood Yard and several television and awards appearances. They are research leads, not yet independently verified entries.

South Florida dates outside Miami-Dade

A September 25, 2010, show at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise has contemporary review and wire-photo evidence. Keep it under South Florida appearances, rather than assigning it to Miami. The arena is now Amerant Bank Arena. Searches also surface 2018 BB&T Center attendee records; confirm the exact date through a contemporary venue/promoter source before adding it.

Planning the next Shakira concert

Use this archive to explore earlier visits. Use the current show page to plan a purchase. Confirm the venue city, event date, stage layout, ticket quantity and total price. If the show is at Kaseya Center, consult the arena transport guide. If it is at Hard Rock Stadium, use the stadium guide and the event’s specific parking instructions. Do not apply Dolphins seating or parking assumptions automatically to a concert.

tour shows and halftime performances belong to different chapters

Shakira’s local history includes concert tours and appearances within major sporting events. A useful archive keeps those formats visible. A halftime performance at a football championship is not the same ticketed experience as a full-length solo show, even when both take place at Hard Rock Stadium.

The February 2020 Super Bowl halftime appearance with Jennifer Lopez belongs to the sporting-event chapter. Later solo stadium dates belong to Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. Readers searching for a Miami performance may remember either, so the archive should provide the event type alongside the venue and date.

The original November 2024 Kaseya Center announcements also need an explanation. The North American tour was reconfigured for 2025, moving several markets into stadiums. The announced Miami arena dates should not become completed performances in a historical count. Old confirmations and preview articles remain useful evidence of the original plan, rather than proof it happened.

Venue identity complicates the earlier history. Miami Arena was a different building from AmericanAirlines Arena, the waterfront venue now called Kaseya Center. A source using the older arena name must be read carefully before its performance is assigned to the wrong location.

For the early-career record, some community dates and filming references still conflict. Those are opportunities for further archival work, particularly original programs, venue material, or recording documentation. Until the dates are reconciled, the page can explain the verified tour and sporting-event chapters without claiming a complete chronology. That creates a useful history while respecting the difference between a remembered appearance, a scheduled performance, and a documented show.
