Chase Stadium and Inter Miami’s Fort Lauderdale History: What Visitors Should Know
No verified events are listed for this selection. Browse our planning guides or check the organizer’s schedule.
If you found an older Inter Miami article mentioning Chase Stadium, check its date before planning a trip. The club's former Fort Lauderdale home and its Nu Stadium venue in Miami are different places. An old stadium name is useful historical information, but it should not decide where you travel for an upcoming match.
Understand the Fort Lauderdale identity
On February 20,2024, Inter Miami and JPMorgan Chase announced the Chase Stadium name for the club's Fort Lauderdale venue. The contemporary announcement described a 21,500-seat home. That figure belongs to the announcement; it is not a guarantee of capacity for a later event or configuration.
This historical page preserves that identity. It does not assume that every future Inter Miami event takes place there, nor that every event at the Fort Lauderdale facility uses the same ticketing arrangements.
Check which stadium your event actually uses
The club's current Nu Stadium guide gives a Miami address: 1000 Stadium Drive, Miami, Florida 33125. That is not an alternative spelling or sponsor name for the Fort Lauderdale venue.
Read the venue field on your specific ticket listing. Then compare it with the organizer's own event announcement. If one page uses an older name and another uses a newer name, resolve the location before selecting a hotel, purchasing parking, or planning transit. A team name alone is not enough to establish the destination.
Treat older logistics as historical
Past parking maps, gate instructions, premium benefits, and bag policies should not automatically become current advice. They may describe a previous season or a different event organizer. The same caution applies to seat recommendations: a historical photo can document a visit without establishing today's view, shade, or available seating.
For an event confirmed at the Fort Lauderdale facility, use the organizer's current seating map and arrival information. Ask about accessibility arrangements before purchasing if a particular entrance, parking location, or seating requirement matters to your group.
Build the outing around a confirmed event
Keep the practical decisions in order: event, venue, ticket type, arrival, then nearby plans. This reduces the chance of choosing a restaurant or accommodation near the wrong stadium.
Our Inter Miami hub should direct current match visitors to the venue actually named in their event listing. This page remains useful for the Fort Lauderdale chapter of the club's history and for separately verified events at that facility. It is an archive and identity guide, with current listings added only when the organizer confirms them.
Booking offers will appear when a verified destination is available. Check the organizer for current dates and sale details.
